Deconstruction in architecture: deconstruction architects’ design in common is to give buildings varieties. Compared with significantly horizontal ,vertical or simply collected forms’ tendencies in design of modernist architecture, deconstruction architecture uses intersection, eccentric, reverse, rotation and other practices, with a tendency full of instability and sporty.

Deconstruction’s biggest feature is the anti-center, anti-authority, anti-binary opposition, anti-theory that it's either black or white. Derrida himself is very interested in buildings, and he considers that architecture aims to control social communication, from a general view, to control the economy. Therefore, he thinks the new buildings, the post-modern buildings, should oppose the monopoly control of modernism, the authoritative position of modernism and the binary confrontational approach causing between confrontation modern architecture and traditional architecture.

Deconstruction of 'architectural characteristics: no absolute authority, personal, non-center; diverse, non-the same technology, broken, messy, ambiguous. The overall fragmentation. The main idea is that processing of the appearance, the design of nonlinear and non-Euclidean geometry, to create architectural elements such as deformation and displacement between floors and walls, or the structure and outline. Buildings after the completion of the visual appearance of the variety of deconstruction style are characterized by a stimulating unpredictability and controlled chaos.

The construction’s main problem is expression of the meaning, that is one of the central element in deconstruction architectural theory. But sometimes it is unreliable, even been mistranslated. Therefore, buildings to convey the meaning are unreliable, a symbol sometimes conveys a different meaning of several significances. How can an architect hope to convey the meaning shown, and how to represent the social community expression meaning? The language is unreliable. Then how to create a so-called "architectural language"? Attitude towards history, the position of the historic buildings, because of the unreliability of language, there have a problem, then in the construction of what is truly reliable, can convey meaning? The issue of this series is often considered by deconstruction architects. The logic, methods and theories used by deconstruction, mostly borrowed from the metaphysical tradition. It seems that deconstruction is a typical expedient, or to our own spear to attack our own shield against the strategy.

Deconstruction and deconstructionists break the existing units of the order. Of course, this order does not only refer to the social order, in addition to including both the social and moral order, marriage order, code of ethics, but also including the personal sense of order, such as the creation of habits, acceptance habits, habits of mind and the unconscious national character from the abstract cultural heritage in human heart. Anyway, is to break the order and then to create a more reasonable order.
