这已经是个老生常谈的问题了，使徒详解什么的，我相信早在多年前就已经流传在EVA的各个相关网站。
可是，时至今日，却也突然发现，有些东西，如果要去订正，那是多么庞大的工程量。
不敢说这样的考据到底意义何在，大抵不过云云罢了
说明：本考据建立在NGE时代的使徒设定基础之上，ROE相关设定不做任何讨论。
使徒，或者说是天使，本身传说就是极其混乱，各种现存说法存在矛盾也是十分常见。
又，本文仅讨论各使徒名字的相关来源及传说，对动画中的其余设定亦不做讨论。

本人水平有限，英文部分翻译可能存在不准确的地方。

第一使徒Adamアダム （亚当）
圣经旧约创世纪上帝以自身为原型做创造的第一个人类。拥有和神相似姿态的原始人类Adam•Kadmon（希伯来语，最初的人）是全知全能的存在。
Adam ("man")-in The Book of Adanr arid EveI , 10, Adam is called "the bright angel." In EnochII, he is a "second angel." When he was created, Adam reached from "the earth to the firmament," according to the midrash Bereshith Rabba. In the cabala, Adam is the 6th sephira Tiphereth (meaning "beauty "), according to Pistorius. Adam's dust, declared Rabbi Meier, was gathered from all parts of the earth. Talmud records that Adam was originally androgynous and the exact image of God (Who was likewise conceived as androgynous). The story in The Apocalypse of Moses is that Adam was whisked to Heaven by Michael in a fiery chariot. Another legend is that he was fetched from Hell by Jesus and transported to 6 Heaven along with the other "saints in chains." Still another legend, recounted in the revelation of Moses (Ante-Nicene Fathers Library, 8) is that Adam was buried by 4 angels-Uriel, Gabriel, Raphael, Michael. In Mathers, The Kabbalah Unveiled, the 10 sefiroth, in their totality, represent or constitute the archetypal man, Adam Kadmon.

圣书正典里没有谈及莉莉丝的内容，根据《the alphabet of ben-sira》（本司拉的知识,成书于公元7-10世纪，作者不详）这本书，莉莉丝是亚当最初的妻子，离开了他和恶魔生了很多孩子，他们的女儿被称为李林（リル＝イン）

第三使徒 萨基尔（サキエル Sachile）水天使
其余可见Sakile的拼写，即“K”“CH”的发音问题而已，参见英语相关发音规则。
因为有掌管水的天使名而从海中袭来。它的名字意味着“神之命令”【和下面的英文明显存在一定出入】，据说是监视着人类的存在。作为堕天使有能被列举的事（？），一说拥有邪视的能力【关于堕天使的说法……个人认为Sachiel和Zadkiel在形象上有明显的重复……不过堕天使似乎更多的指的是Zadkiel】。机能增幅后的怪光线可能正是被称为邪眼。
Sachiel是犹太神话中的天使名，周四的守护者，掌管水的天使。根据犹太教的集团之一亚森尼派，Sachiel是七个大天使之一，根据恶魔学的书籍，Sachiel是支配9个天球层的9个天使的其中之一，在这也被认为是支配木星的天使。

It has been said that Milton coined the name Ramiel as well as Ithuriel, Zophiel, and Zephon, although these names have come to light in early apocryphal, apocalyptical, and Talmudic sources.

第七使徒 （Israfel イスラフェル）音乐天使
其他拼写可见Israfil, Isrephel, Sarafiel等。
在伊胤斯胤兰教的传说中，Israfel是吹着小号传递最后的审判的来临的天使。另外，他是走在传递安胤拉的话语的djibril（加百列之阿胤拉胤伯名，同宙斯与朱庇特）前面，第一个访问默胤罕胤默胤德之下的天使。

传说中Sandalphon是预言者。Elijah转世成天使的姿态，支配着第五天Maon
(マホン)，即天使的牢狱。另外，也是犹太教、基督教神秘主义中掌管胎儿的天使。【根据英文应该只是掌管胎儿的性别……】
Sandalphon是犹太教，基督教中天使的名字。这个名字在希腊语中有“共同的兄弟”的意思，另外，也被称为是掌管胎儿的天使。根据卡巴拉，他是在生命之树最低点支配Malkuth的天使，和在最顶点支配Kether的Metatron是双胞胎【此处为大天使双生的表现】。根据以诺书，他是支配第五天MATHEY（マティ）【同样都是第五天，这个名字问题啊，顺便下文的英语用的是第六天】的天使，拥有能够到达天的巨大的身姿，是幽闭犯了罪的天使们的牢狱的支配着。

犹太教传说中，Leliel为Lailah的别名，“Lail”的词源是希伯来语中“夜”的含义，是为保护刚出生的新生儿的存在。

You could plan to handle the situation in advance by writin a letter of petition to Armisael using angelic script before your due date. If further assistance is required or the situation becomes critical, the following invocation can be performed. Green is the colour of initiation and childbirth, so first light a green candle. If candle burning is not permitted in the place you are having your baby, visualize a bright green light as you recite these words to the four cardinal points, starting in the east and working deosil (clockwise):

Nuctemeron: The twelve hours of Apollonius of Tyana
Apollonius, is one of the historical figure heads that several researchers have seen as the catalyst for the Christ stories in the bible. Apollonius was a student of Pythagoras in ancient greece. The information on Apollonius is far and wide.
Perhaps the most interesting information is that which was channeled by Marjorie Livingston on January 14th, 1929. The document that was channeled was entitled the New Nuctemeron. The book describes the proper way of living and what is asked of the student of the mystical arts.
“His Nuctemeron concerns the `Day of God Shining in the Darkness’. This Day is divided into twelve hours, described in twelve brief aphorisms which, at first glance, appear extremely cryptic and veiled. However, when Jan van Rijckenborgh applies the gnostic key (the insight that there is an inner God imprisoned in the darkness of our microcosm, who needs to be set free) these aphorisms are illuminated as a series of twelve steps which, if taken, will enable the `Day of God’ to dawn in our lives.”
In some instance references can be found to the nuctemeron saying that there are several angels or demons that reside within each hour of the Nuctemeron. Perhaps the most intriguing thing is not the ancient book; but the contemporary opera by Hans Van Eck.
first hour
In the unity, de daimons sing the praise of God, they loose their malignity and their wrath.
second hour
By the binary, the fishes of the Zodiac sing the praise of God, the snakes of fire intertwine around Hermes’ staff and the thunder becomes harmonious.
third hour
The snakes of Hermes’ staff intertwine trice, Cerberus opens his triple mouth and fire sings the praise of God by the three tongs of the lightning.
fourth hour
At the fourth hour the soul returns for a visit to the sepulcher. It is the time to light the magical lamps at the four corners of the circles. It is the time for incantations and illusions.
fifth hour
The voice of the great waters sing the God of the heavenly spheres.
sixth hour
The spirit remains motionless. He sees the infernal monsters work against him and he is without fear.
